The Soapbox at OnTheSquare.com
      The purpose of the Soapbox is to provide a forum for residents of the Troy, Ohio area to express opinions on issues that are important to them. Responses to other opinions are encouraged.

      While anyone can read messages on the Soapbox, only people who have registered are permitted to post messages.


      Registration

      To register, click on the "Register" link on the main page of the Soapbox. Complete the short form and submit it. You will be notified by email (usually within 24 hours), when your registration has been approved or rejected.

      When registering, you can specify a screen name that you will use when posting to the Soapbox. While registering, you must also provide your real name, address, telephone number, and email address. This information will not be published on the web site and will not be sold or given to anyone else for advertising purposes.


      Complying with laws and government requests

      Rhombus Technologies, Ltd. reserves the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate its systems properly or to protect itself or its users.


      Sign-in

      Once you have registered, you can sign-in by clicking the "Sign-In" link on the main page of the Soapbox and entering your screen name and password. You only need to do this when you want to post a new topic or respond to an existing message or to update a message that you posted earlier.


      Please be courteous.

      Strong opinions are welcome. Threats and character assassinations are not! Obscene and suggestive language is unacceptable.

      Normally, we will not edit messages, but, inappropriate language or entire messages may be censored or deleted without warning.
