I see once again the school board has lied to us. After promising to let all tax abatements expire once the Troy school TAX was instated they now want to renew yet another tax abatement. I could see it if the school were worth it, but unfortunately here in Troy the school system is the worst. It took an outraged citizenship to get the student expelled for beating up a handicapped student. I guess since the student was an athlete they wanted to sweep it under the rug and pretend it did not happen. It was on You tube, how can it be ignored. There are a number of students who pulled themselves out of the high school because the drug deals going down in the halls were interferring with the teaching. Like I said if the schools were a quality school I'd feel differently. | |
