Troy Civic Theatre Announces the Cast for the Farce, Leading Ladies.
After well-attended auditions the directors, Rebecca Scisson & Niccole SueAnn Wallace are proud to announce their cast which includes Samantha Persing as Meg; Dave Nickel as Leo, Ron Ecklebarger as Jack, Tina Hayes as Audrey, Aaron Dunavent as Duncan, Terressa Knoch as Florence, Alan Dunavent as Doc, and Jamison Meyer as Butch. Assisting with the show are Sonja Hyer as Stage Manager and Sherry Scheuerman as Producer.
Leading Ladies is a madcap farce by Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor) and takes place in Pennsylvania around 1958. Two down on their luck English actors decide to masquerade as Max and Steve, the relatives of a wealthy, elderly lady. The two actors hope to obtain her fortune but find out once the charade is started that Max and Steve are actually Maxine and Stephanie. This of course doesn’t stop them and leads to many hilarious moments of romance and entanglements.
Performance Dates are March 12, 13, 14, 19 and 20, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 4 PM at the Barn in the Park on Adam Street across from Hobart Arena in Troy. Call 339-7700 for tickets.
Troy Civic Theatre is a volunteer community theatre company serving the Troy area with live community theatre entertainment since 1965.
