THE MIAMI COUNTY OHIO BICENTENNIAL
RUM RIVER BLEND
Sunday, July 8, 2007 - Miami County Fairgrounds - Entertainment Tent

Rum River Blend is a very popular local group that bills itself "Unprofessional Entertainment." Unprofessional they are not! They perform all over the state bringing their folk music, blues, and country sound to delighted audiences everywhere they go. The name Rum River Blend comes from the name of the river which runs through the hometown of vocalist Linda Tartarian who with her husband, Chris, are the core of the group.

At the Miami County Bicentennial Celebration, Rum River Blend entertained an enthusiastic crowd Sunday afternoon in the Entertainment Tent. During their performance, Daniel Roderiguez (R), the "Singing Cop" who inspired the country after the September 11 attacks, joined the group onstage for some improvised musical numbers and lots of fun. Other friends dropped in also (bottom photo) Is this a new band in town?
