POSTCARD TINTING
Sunday, August 15
1 PM - 5 PM

Consider beating the heat by participating in the time honored art  activity of  “Postcard Tinting,” Sunday, August 15, from 1 PM - 5 PM. This first in a series of Community Art activities sponsored by The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center will give anyone who wants to participate a chance to colorize an enlarged historic Troy postcard image from the 1900’s. Large 30”x40” reproductions of historic postcards images have been transferred to artist canvas and will be available to “tint” with non-toxic color glazes that will complete the  historic postcard images for use in the Troy Historic Alliance’s educational traveling display.
