Lost cards will be taken on any purebreed dogs, dogs which left home wearing tags or if you bring in a picture of your dog. Mixed breeds without tags or a picture are too difficult to identify by a description so no lost card will be taken. Owners must come look at least every 3 days. |

We will attempt to identify or call on any lost cards taken. You are encouraged to call daily however, to be 100% sure your dog does not end up at the shelter you MUST come look for your dog at least every 3 days (lost cards could be misplaced, errors could be made). |

Lost cards will be posted for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we cannot guarantee we will be watching for your dog, so please come look every 3 days. |

If you live near any county line, you may want to contact neighboring counties. Ask at the desk for various shelter phone numbers. |

When you find your dog, please make sure it wears its current license and/or ID tag at all times. A license tag is a phone call home for a pet away from home. |
